i can't believe i would let myself believe a rumor for SO long... little rascals, one of my all time favorites, has been off the scene for a very long time... i had heard the reason was that bill cosby had bought the rights and would not allow it to be in syndication because some of the material was deemed racist... i dont know why i didnt look it up until tonight, but every time i spoke of how much i love the cosby show- there would always be that 'but...'
says wikipedia: "The widely-circulated rumor that entertainer Bill Cosby bought up the rights to Our Gang to keep the racial stereotypes off of television is false. Cosby has never owned any rights to the series at any time.[33]"
so, sorry bill for misjudging...
here is a very brief clip- i wish they would bring this back to television- episodes are so difficult to find... i just thought this was cool because it shows how little the tabasco label has changed in the past 70+ years...
