so- you know how people will sometimes sing a one sided conversation to a toddler? maybe repeat a line or two to make it sound more like a song??? i was walking down Abbot Kinney the other day and there was a mother slouching down to hold her child's hand while making their way down the street. I overheard the mother in a sickeningly sweet, sing-songy voice..." we're going to lunch, we're going to lunch, with bro-own rice, yummy brown rice and to-oh-fu." i dont know what new york toddlers are eating- but im sure its not vegan...
